The flyaway dress
November 29, 2016
This disheveled little owl remembered she was a girl and decided to wear a dress to dance lessons. After her feathers had recovered from the surprise of it all she danced forro quite happily until she realised what an interesting combination of breezes the studio's fans were making. And how very light her dress was. She clutched it elegantly and partner-danced as best she could and tried not to look in the mirror ... and hoped ... until one of the oh-so-considerate instructors brought her some rubber bands. What to do with rubber bands, her not-worn-dresses-for-so-long-I've-forgotten-about-them self asked. Make little fabric knots on both sides, the instructor-lifesaver said. And so she did.
