'Life's one big balancing act,' said the small girl.
'Not really,' said the yellow duck.
'I think about putting a foot wrong all the time,' said the small girl.
'I don’t,’ said the yellow duck.
'I think, "What if I fall?"' said the small girl.
'Not me,' said the yellow duck.
(Pause.)
'Not me,' said the yellow duck.
(Pause.)
'Hmmm...' said the dishevelled little owl.
'What if...?'
'What if...?'
'Yes?' said the first little owl.
'What if,' said the dishevelled little owl,
'you didn't worry about what's in front, or behind,
'or what's on this or that side?'

'or what's on this or that side?'
(Pause.)
'And what if...' said the dishevelled little owl.
'Yes?' said the second little owl.
'What if all you thought about
'was putting one foot in front of the other?'
