'It's big, isn't it?' said the small girl.
'Yes,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'I don't know what to do about it,' said the small girl.
'What do you mean?' asked the dishevelled little owl.
‘I should do something about it,' said the small girl.
'What should you do?' asked the dishevelled little owl. 

(Pause.)

'I should help it,' said the small girl.
'Oh,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'I should make it easier,' said the small girl.
'Ah,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'I should make it kinder,' said the small girl.
'Yes,' said the dishevelled little owl.

(Pause.)

'But...' said the small girl.
‘But?’ asked the dishevelled little owl.
‘There's not enough time,' said the small girl.
'Um...' said the dishevelled little owl.
'It's too big…' said the small girl.
'And I’m too small.'

(Pause.)
