'Is that my world?' asked the small girl.

'That's it,' said the first little owl.

'The one where I live?' asked the small girl.

'The very same,' said the dishevelled little owl.

'It's so beautiful!' said the small girl.

'Yes, it is,' said the first little owl.

(Pause.)

'It's so round!' said the small girl.

'Yes,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'And blue!' said the small girl.
'Yes,' said the first little owl.
'And tiny!' said the small girl.
'Just like you,' said the dishevelled little owl.

(Pause.)

'Thank you for bringing me,' whispered the small girl.

'You're welcome,' said the first little owl.
'A pleasure,' said the dishevelled little owl.

'Let's go home, now,' said the small girl.

'All right,' said the first little owl.

'Hold tight,' said the dishevelled little owl.
